We keep touching lives in Africa...

As part of our volunteering activities in Africa as The Inner Child team, we have carried out many aid activities such as zakat distributions, school painting, amusement park activities, Quran and toy distribution, and a water well opening. With the support of our volunteers, we have tried to make their lives easier by touching their difficult lives a little.

Our volunteer teams shared their feelings and thoughts as follows:

Emre KARAAĞAÇ: "This aid trip I took to Africa became one of the most meaningful experiences of my life—one I will never forget. While distributing educational materials such as backpacks, books, and pencils to Ugandan children, I realized that although I was giving them something, I was also learning a great deal myself. I came to appreciate once again the value of the opportunities I have in my own life and developed a deep sense of gratitude for what I possess. Seeing how warm-hearted, well-mannered, and affectionate the people are, especially the children, despite having so little, touched me deeply. Thanks to the work of this aid organization, many children smiled again, and their dreams began to blossom again. Unfortunately, there is still a great need for more support. I hope more volunteers join this beautiful cause, and that this circle of kindness continues to grow. It was incredibly moving to observe how intelligent, curious, and talented the children were. However, it was heartbreaking to see them lacking proper attention and financial support. I am certain that every opportunity offered to them can lead to great achievements in the future. The most unforgettable moment was during the opening of a water well. Witnessing a community finally gaining access to clean water right next to them, without having to walk kilometers, was both emotional and a source of great pride. The happiness in people’s eyes and the gratitude they felt toward the volunteers were beyond words. This journey taught me about humanity, the power of sharing, and how true happiness is often hidden in the simplest of things."

Ayşe KARAAĞAÇ: "The aid project I participated in with The Inner Child was a truly special experience that left a lasting mark on my life. The happiness in the children's eyes, their warm smiles, and the deep bonds formed through small gestures truly touched my heart. Everything was thought out in the finest detail and very well organized, which made us feel both safe and valued. I sincerely thank everyone who contributed, especially The Inner Child team for giving us this opportunity. During this journey, I not only shed light on others' lives but also gained a deeper awareness of my own. I once again felt how transformative helping, sharing, and kindness can be. I wholeheartedly recommend everyone to embark on such a journey."
